Colorcoat® SDP 50 Collection by SAB-profiel: 5 new colors with captivating names

Want to give your building more character? The metallic colors from the Colorcoat® SDP 50 series by SAB-profiel now offer even more distinction. Five new colors have been added to the collection, each with an evocative name inspired by well-known cities and places around the world. For instance, a façade can now be finished with TSN New York Anthracite or TSN Barcelona Blue. Looking for a touch of luxury? TSN Dubai Desert gives buildings a golden glow. Other new shades include Florence Copper Bronze and Vík Volcano (black metallic). The Icelandic village of Vík is famous for its ‘black’ beaches. What hasn’t changed are the outstanding functional properties of Colorcoat® SDP 50.
TSN Barcelona Blue
Blue, the colour of Barcelona. From the mosaic wall in Park Güell to the Mediterranean Sea. A colour that reflects the city’s dynamics.

With its range of design profiles, SAB-profiel’s Design – collection also addresses the demand for greater architectural distinction. The Colorcoat SDP 50 Metallic series makes it even easier to give a design its own identity. Familiar metallic gray tones are also part of the lineup, such as TSN Paris 9006 and TSN Sydney 9007 with a new name but the color and metallic effect have remained the same.

TSN Florence Copper Bronze
The warm colour of copper bronze, inspired by the iconic roof of the Duomo cathedral in Florence. A colour with eternal value.

Places on earth as inspiration for names

The names were chosen deliberately, says Joyce van Vliet, Marketing & Communication Manager at SAB-profiel, who developed the naming concept. “For example, in TSN Paris 9006, you can discern very light accents through the gray, referencing Paris’ nickname, the City of Light. And the green roof of the Berlin Cathedral is reflected in the metallic green shade now called TSN Berlin Copper Green.” By using Colorcoat SDP 50, façades become much more expressive. The metallic finishes create a striking shimmering effect. The clearly visible sparkle turns large surfaces into undeniable eye-catchers, as seen in our own SAB building façade, which was recently renovated using SAB-Pyramid 37/460 and 37/510 in the color TSN Dubai Desert.

TSN Geneva Silver White
Silver white with the tones of the white snow peaks of Geneva. The purity of the Alps, captured in the toughness of steel.

TSN Sydney 9007
Dynamic grey, inspired by the iconic and vibrant city of Sydney. Steel that, like the city, seems to look different every time.
TSN Berlin Copper Green
Historic charm meets modern vitality: the rich green of the Berliner Dom roof combined with the vibrant energy of Berlin.

Enhanced scratch and wear resistanceas

The improved scratch and wear resistance of the 50 μm coating with a light texture makes it highly practical for everyday use. Additionally, the metallic coating of Colorcoat SDP 50 is known for its excellent corrosion resistance. The lifespan is long, complemented by a 25-year performance guarantee from manufacturer Tata Steel. This warranty remains valid even with the installation of solar panels.

TSN Dubai Desert
Golden as the setting desert sun, with a nod to the city where everything that glitters really is gold: Dubai.
TSN New York Anthracite
Anthracite-coloured like the night that falls over the city, in ‘the city that never sleeps’. A unique blend of brute force and urban allure.
