Briggs & Stratton Nijmegen
The Bijsterhuizen Business Park in Wijchen near Nijmegen (NL) now has another landmark. The Briggs & Stratton distribution centre that was completed this summer immediately attracts the attention, due to its red details and clean lines. The decorative details with red areas at the corners of the distribution centre display the professionalism of Cladding Partners. The angularly cut trapezium-shaped profiles are arranged alternatively in a chessboard pattern in different orientations.
The red areas in Colorcoat® HPS200 Ultra® Chili contrast in both colour and profile with the grey areas that form the rest of the facade. Anthracite grey areas of horizontally oriented sinusoidal profiles SAB 27/1000 in RAL 7016 and an aluminium strip in RAL 9006/9007, of the same sinusoidal profiles (SAB 27/1000), but now oriented vertically and interrupted by elongated windows.
Heembouw executed the project, following a design by architect Louis Banning of InTex Architecten.
In addition to the striking profile cladding, the building has more SAB material: over 500 m2 of SAB W100.1150 LL sandwich panels in Colorcoat® PVDF RAL 9010, 7,000 m2 of SAB 135R/930 deep deck cladding with the inner skin in RAL 9010, 6,000 m2 of SAB 140/600 liner trays, more than 400 m2 of SAB 35/1035 trapezium-shaped profiles in Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® Chili and more than 6,000 m2 of SAB 27/1000 sinusoidal profiles in Colorcoat® PVDF RAL 7016, RAL 9006 and RAL 9007.
