Successful Audit ISO 45001

Providing employees with a safe and healthy workplace is not only a legal obligation but also an essential prerequisite for companies to deploy staff sustainably and ensure long-term commitment to the organization. It is no coincidence that this topic is always the first agenda item mentioned at every meeting at SAB.

To further demonstrate that we have matters well under control in the area of safety and health, we decided to be assessed against the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems, ISO 45001.

In November, the initial audit, which lasted a total of 5 days, was conducted by the certification body Aboma. The entire organization was evaluated, from management and leadership to operational implementation in the workplace. We are proud to announce that this resulted in the certification being awarded.

With this achievement, SAB has proven to have a working system in place that identifies risks in the area of occupational health and safety and implements measures to reduce them to an acceptable level. Moreover, incidents are not ignored but instead used as a starting point to further improve safety in collaboration with employees.
