One of the Largest Distribution Centers in the World – DSV Moerdijk

At the Logistics Park Moerdijk (LPM), Bouwbedrijf Vrolijk constructed an XXL warehouse of 240,000 m² for DSV Global Transport and Logistics. Vrolijk further developed the architectural design by Palazzo and the structural design by Qbuz into a practical and realistic construction design. The installation of our products was carried out by Dak- en Gevelbekleding | Cladding.nl.

  • 10 distribution halls of approximately 20,000 m² each, complemented by a 38,000 m² mezzanine
  • 190 loading and unloading docks
  • 1,000 parking spaces on the roof of the warehouse
  • 5 office buildings with a combined floor area of approximately 4,900 m²
  • 7,082 façade panels
  • 13,000 solar panels
  • 100 charging stations and fast chargers for electric trucks
  • BREEAM-NL Excellent certification

Unique Custom-Made Coating Color

For this project, a specially developed custom color was selected in Colorcoat SDP 50: RAL 5023 (Distant Blue). This is an attractive grey-blue shade that contributes to the building’s distinctive appearance.
