Half-Year CO₂ Emissions Report 2025: On Track for Our Goal

We are well on track to achieve our 2025 target: a 90% reduction compared to the reference year 2019. Investments in electric forklifts in Geldermalsen and the further electrification of our vehicle fleet are showing their effect.

Results so far

• 1st half of 2024: 217 tons
• 1st half of 2025: 215 tons (slight improvement compared to last year)
• Target for the full year 2025: 322 tons (10% of emissions compared to the reference year 2019)

Although natural gas consumption in IJsselstein, at 65%, still contributes the most to our total emissions, we expect—provided the winter is not exceptionally harsh—to achieve the 2025 target.

Working Together to Reduce CO₂
These results show that the measures taken are having an effect. Step by step, we are making important progress towards our long-term ambition: a lasting reduction of our CO₂ footprint and a contribution to a more sustainable future.
