SL roof panels bring color to agricultural barns and industrial buildings.

Corrugated roofs can be found all over the Netherlands. They are a popular roofing solution for agricultural barns, stables, and industrial buildings with sloped roofs. However, more and more often, these are not the traditional fiber cement corrugated sheets, but insulated SL sandwich panels. Steel roof panels from SAB-profiel that have the same corrugated look, but offer many advantages. They are quick to install, optimally insulated, and available in a wide range of colors.

In 2020, SAB-profiel developed the SL sandwich roof panel as an alternative to traditional fiber cement corrugated sheets. The SAB roof panels with corrugated profiling are available in three thicknesses: 83, 120, and 160 mm. Thanks to their insulating core, the panels keep the warmth inside during winter and the heat outside during summer. The thicker the panel, the higher the insulation value.

“The excellent insulation properties are the main reason why, during (asbestos) renovation or new construction of halls, barns, and stables, more and more customers choose the SL roof panel,” says Gert-Jan Evers, Senior Sales Manager at SAB-profiel. The maximum panel length is an impressive 25 meters, and the sealing strip in the longitudinal joint ensures an airtight and optimally insulated roof.
