Unique matt look
Tata Steel and SAB are pleased to offer architects, designers, project developers and building owners even more design opportunities with the introduction of the new Colorcoat Prisma Textured finish, as part of its prepainted steel range for roof and façade cladding. The new robust finish in a 70 μm 3 layer coating system is designed to offer a uniquely textured look and feel, combines contemporary aesthetics with the durability and long-life performance that the Colorcoat Prisma brand is known for. Providing a true matt look, the textured effect adds an exciting illusion of depth and a multi-tonal feel to the pre-finished steel, while simultaneously helping to minimise light reflectance. Now special combinations can be made with the standard Satin gloss levels of Metallic and Solid/Uni colors. For more technical information, download the datasheet Colorcoat Prisma - Textured.
Any Solid or special Metallic shade that is found on the Colorcoat Prisma colourcard is available with a textured clearcoat. As the first standard, SAB has immediately stocked Colorcoat Prisma Black Textured. Other colours can be ordered by us. In addition, through the Tata Steel Repertoire® colour consultancy service, we can match almost any Solid colour which can be produced with a textured clearcoat. With a minimum order quantity of 5,000m2, this gives a wide choice of options for your building.
Common roof and façade applications
Colorcoat Prisma with a textured clearcoat has a nominal thickness of 70 microns and makes it an ideal choice for both roof and wall cladding of commercial, retail, warehouse, public sector and superior aesthetic buildings. The end result provides a natural effect with the illusion of depth giving a sophisticated high end building finish.
