This page presents an overview of the SAB sandwich panels with fire-resistant (FR-series) qualities EW30 / EW60 / EI30 / EI15.
SAB sandwich panels are fireproof by using PIR foam with a unique formulation. In terms of fire classification, the SAB panels fall into class B-s2,d0. If you want even better protection, choose the fire-resistant facade panels SAB FR series with EI15, EI20, EI30, EW30 or EW60 certificate.
The fire resistance of 30 minutes applies to the EW30 and EI30 series of sandwich panels. For the blind panels SAB WB100, WB120 and WB140 we achieved EW30 in both mounting directions, with a field of application of up to 6 meters. The roof panels TL are certified from D90 and thicker as EW30 from the inside out. For fires from the outside in, the same panels from D130 and up are certified as EI30-ef and even EW90-ef, where "ef" stands for the reduced fire curve of an outdoor fire.
SAB WB 100-120-140-FR
Our SAB WB FR panels with secret fixing guarantee a fire-resistance of at least 30 minutes. The panels have the same characteristics and ribbing possibilities as the standard SAB WB series.
SAB W 120-150-FR
Build with our sandwich panels SAB W 120 or 150-FR to achieve an outward or inward fire-resistance. Also applicable as inside wall.
SAB W 95-135-FR TL
To get a fire-resistance of 15 minutes from inside to outside (and from the outside to inside) you can use the sandwich panel SAB W 95 or SAB W 135 TL EI15.
SAB D 90-110-130-160-FR TL
Besides our WB-FR classified panels, SAB now also offer more sandwich panels with a guaranteed 30 minutes fire resistance (EW30). These panels come with a trapezoidal (TL) ribbing and have been developed and thoroughly tested specifically with regards to fire resisting qualities.
